Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC)

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an 8-week group program designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion. Based on groundbreaking research by Kristin Neff and integrated with the clinical perspective of Christopher Germer, MSC teaches core principles and practices that enable participants to respond to difficult emotions with kindness and understanding.

Self-compassion can be learned by anyone and can be helpful for everyone. In MSC you will learn to:

  • Practice mindfulness and self-compassion in daily life
  • Understand the research and science behind self-compassion
  • Handle difficult emotions with greater ease
  • Motivate yourself with kindness instead of criticism

This group is led by Dr. Gwyn Schell and Dr. Stephanie Steinman. No meditation experience necessary. All are welcome!

Price is $80/session or $600 for full 8 week session.
