What to expect
We can all experience difficult patterns (relationships, emotions, behaviors) that we want to change. Following your initial intake session (where I gain information about your history and a brief understanding of your current goals), I provide cognitive behavioral psychoeducation and help you map out your maladaptive patterns. As we gain a deeper understanding of your challenges we also create a common language for increasing your self-knowledge and self-acceptance. Using that knowledge, and skills and tools from various therapies that fit your needs, we shift your patterns to work toward healthier relationships, management of emotions, and positive behaviors. As we continue to work together within a non-judgemental supportive space, we will work to balance your insight with ongoing acceptance and provide strategies to challenge you towards deeper and lasting change.
